कोरोना वैक्‍सीन पर गुड न्‍यूज, सीरम इंस्टिट्यूट ने कहा- मार्च तक आ सकता है टीका

 Covid-19 vaccine in India: सीरम इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ इंडिया (SII) फिलहाल ऑक्‍सफर्ड-अस्‍त्राजेनेका के कोविड-19 टीके (Oxford -AstraZeneca Coronavirus vaccine) का भारत में ट्रायल कर रही है।

अगर सबकुछ ठीक रहा तो भारत को मार्च 2021 तक कोविड-19 का टीका हासिल हो सकता है। दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी वैक्‍सीन निर्माता कंपनी, सीरम इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ इंडिया के एक अधिकारी ने यह बात कही है। यह कंपनी देश में ऑक्‍सफर्ड-अस्‍त्राजेनेका की कोरोना वैक्‍सीन का ट्रायल कर रही है। SII के एक्‍जीक्‍यूटिव डायरेक्‍टर डॉ सुरेश जाधव ने द इंडियन एक्‍सप्रेस से बातचीत में कहा कि भारत को मार्च 2021 तक कोविड-19 की वैक्‍सीन मिल सकती है, अगर रेगुलेटर्स जल्‍दी अप्रूवल दें 'क्‍योंकि कई निर्माता इसपर काम कर रहे हैं।' उन्‍होंने कहा कि भारत में कोविड-19 वैक्‍सीन पर रिसर्च बेहद तेजी से चल रही है। देश में दो वैक्‍सीन कैंडिडेट्स का फेज-3 ट्रायल चल रहा है और एक फेज-2 में है। और भी वैक्‍सीन कैंडिडेट्स पर भारत में रिसर्च और डेवलपमेंट पर काम चल रहा है।


WHO का वैक्‍सीन पर क्‍या है कहना?

विश्‍व स्‍वास्‍थ्‍य संगठन (WHO) की चीफ साइंटिस्‍ट डॉ सौम्‍या स्‍वामीनाथन के अनुसार, अगले साल की दूसरी तिमाही तक वैक्‍सीन तैयार हो जानी चाहिए। उन्‍होंने कहा कि 'किसी भी वैक्‍सीन के ट्रायल में उतार-चढ़ाव आते हैं।' उन्‍होंने कहा, "जनवरी 2021 तक हम (फाइनल ट्रायल के) नतीजे देख पाएंगे और 2021 की दूसरी तिमाही तक SARS-CoV-2 के खिलाफ वैक्‍सीन तैयार हो जानी चाहिए।"

दिसंबर तक बना लेंगे वैक्‍सीन की 8 करोड़ डोज: SII

डॉ जाधव ने इंडिया वैक्‍सीन अवेलिबिलिटी ई-समिट को संबोधित करते हुए कहा, "हम हर साल वैक्‍सीन की 70 से 80 करोड़ डोज बना सकते हैं। हमारी करीब 55 फीसदी आबादी 50 साल से कम उम्र की है, लेकिन उपलब्‍धता के आधार पर वैक्‍सीन पहले हेल्‍थकेयर वर्कर्स को मिलनी चाहिए, इसके बाद बाकी सबको।" उन्‍होंने कहा, 'हम दिसंबर 2020 तक 6 से 7 करोड़ डोज तैयार कर लेंगे लेकिन लाइसेंसिंग का क्लियरेंस मिलने के बाद ही वो बाजार में आ पाएंगी। उसके बाद हम सरकार की इजाजत से और डोज तैयार करेंगे।'

सरकार वैक्‍सीन स्‍टोरेज और डिस्‍ट्रीब्‍यूशन की तैयारी में

वैक्‍सीन ट्रायल में प्रगति के बीच सरकार ने स्‍टोरेज और डिस्‍ट्रीब्‍यूशन से जुड़ी तैयारियां तेज कर दी हैं। वो सरकारी और निजी ठिकाने ढूंढे जा रहे हैं जहां वैक्‍सीन स्‍टोर की जा सके। कोल्‍ड स्‍टोरेज पर फोकस है क्‍योंकि अधिकतर वैक्‍सीन को एक तय तापमान पर रखना और डिस्‍ट्रीब्‍यूट करना होता है। अगर तापमान बदला तो वैक्‍सीन बेअसर हो जाती है। डॉ वीके पॉल की अगुवाई में बना एक्‍सपर्ट ग्रुप इस पूरी कवायद पर नजर रखे हुए है। पढ़ें पूरी रिपोर्ट

एक नहीं, कई वैक्‍सीन को मंजूरी दे सकती है सरकार

भारत में कोविड-19 की जिन वैक्‍सीन का ट्रायल चल रहा है, वे डबल या ट्रिपल डोज वाली हैं। ऐसे में सरकार सबको जल्‍द से जल्‍द कवर करने के लिए कई टीकों को मंजूरी दे सकती है। पब्लिक हेल्‍थ एक्‍सपर्ट्स भी कह रहे हैं कि सिंगल डोज के मुकाबले वैक्‍सीन की दो या ज्‍यादा डोज देने से बेहतर ऐंटीबॉडीज रेस्‍पांस मिलता है। केंद्रीय स्‍वास्‍थ्‍य मंत्री हर्षवर्धन के मुताबिक, सरकार अलग-अलग तरह की वैक्‍सीन की उपलब्‍धता पर विचार कर रही है। उन्‍होंने कहा कि एजग्रुप के हिसाब से अलग-अलग वैक्‍सीन को मंजूरी दी जा सकती है क्‍योंकि एक वैक्‍सीन शायद एक खास आयु वर्ग पर असरदार हो, दूसरे पर नहीं।
